Pull back the plastic molding to the bumper molding and remove the hex head bolts connecting the quarter panels and the bumper molding. 2. Remove the pushpins from the bottom of the bumper molding. Also remove the Phillips screws on the face and top of the chrome grille (four on the top and three on the face of the grille). Pull forward to remove the bumper.

The six-speed manual transmission is easy to shift. Because of the close gearing, sixth gear is appreciated as it lowers engine revolution at highway speeds. The transfer case, too, is easy to use. On the road Despite its two solid axles, the Wrangler provides a smooth ride with a touch of well-controlled firmness. Obviously, there is some bouncing on certain types of bumps, but without harsh reactions. The level of comfort is a pleasant surprise from a vehicle capable of affronting the severest of off-road conditions. Road holding is correct for this type of vehicle.
